REBOOT (2022)

Listening with your body

REBOOT (2022) is an interactive sound installation, which explores the method of “bone conduction”. Bone conduction happens when sound is vibrating through our bones, and percepted by our inner ear. It is designed as en encouragement for the listener to explore the physics of sound and reconnect to their senses. The listener is seated in a chair with speakers touching their spine and elbows, while their ears are covered by earmuffs. The speakers all have different tones, which means that the listener can explore different harmonies while experimenting with their body’s conduction of sound.
